How SwitchPilot prepares its tools
SwitchPilot helps employees in India plan a job change with date estimators, compensation comparisons, checklists and editable drafts. The tools are planning aids; they do not decide your legal rights, final tax liability or employer-approved release date.
Calculations and assumptions
The notice-date tool adds calendar days to the date you enter and lets you choose whether that date counts as day one. Salary, tax, gratuity and offer comparisons use the inputs and assumptions shown in their tools. They cannot know every employer policy, pay component, state rule, deduction or individual circumstance.
Check important results against your contract, payslip or payroll team. For tax decisions, compare with the Income Tax Department's official estimator and obtain qualified advice when your circumstances are complex.
Documents and guides
Standard document drafts are assembled from editable templates and the details you provide. Review names, dates, tone and company requirements before using them. Guide pages summarise general processes and link to public references where applicable; an employer's written policy and current official guidance may differ.
Content is published by SwitchPilot. We do not claim that every page has been independently reviewed by a lawyer, accountant or other licensed professional.
Primary references
For a decision with legal or financial consequences, use the current primary source rather than relying on a summary alone. We favour official government and statutory sources and show page-specific references beside relevant tools.
